Having the credentials to be one of the leading international providers of technical and related advisory services to a diverse and evolving PFI/PPP/P3 infrastructure market is a position held by few and coveted by many.
Being one of the few, Currie & Brown has a broad international track record in PFI/PPP/P3, an established team of experienced individuals and the relevant processes, protocols and market maturity to work with you to deliver the projects and products that you require.
Examples of our engagement and inputs extend across a wide range of PFI/PPP/P3 challenges, including, for example, key activities such as: strategic planning and preparation of business cases, project scoping and assessing affordability, technical inputs and advice, payment mechanism, service levels and lifecycle.
Our people
Beyond our business and technical inputs and skills are our people. Their approach, dedication and ability to integrate with your team and interface with your partner’s team is our distinction, and this can only come about from a rounded experience of the market place and engagement and interaction with the various legal, financial and business advisors involved in the PFI/PPP/P3 process.
Working for the public sector, the private sector and in independent roles, we are providing input and support to project delivery in many sectors and countries. This extends to providing start-up advice and business planning support direct to governments through to the planning and implementation of projects (via the construction and operational phases) and beyond to the re-assessment and secondary markets for project portfolios.
Global experience
Currie & Brown is one of the largest exporters of PFI/PPP/P3 and is involved in projects with a combined value of over £35 billion. We have been working with the Ministry of Health in Mexico on the implementation of its PFI hospitals initiative, as well as advising the Ministry of Transport in Mexico on the first PFI tollway project. Currie & Brown also has significant presence in Latin America, having advised on PPP projects in Chile, Guatemala and Peru. Furthermore, we have wide-ranging projects ongoing across Europe (including the M25 ring-road in Madrid, for example) and are advising government departments in the Middle East and the Far East.
