Approach to CSR

At Currie & Brown we see corporate social responsibility (CSR) as critical to the successful long-term relationship with all our employees and clients. It allows us to try and improve our environmental impact and contribute to the communities in which we work. It is an integral part of our business management system, striving to deliver world-class performance.

CSR is about ensuring we conduct our business in an ethical way taking into account our impact, economically, socially, environmentally and in terms of individual human rights. We understand that our business actions affect local communities, and we take care to ensure our impact is positive.

Our CSR policy is endorsed from the very top of our organisation and is included in our personal development reviews for every member of staff.

A team of individuals from all parts of our business is responsible for driving our policies forward and all efforts are co-ordinated by CSR representatives in each of our offices.

In many regions, Currie & Brown is certified to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management) and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
