David has been with Currie & Brown since 1970. He became a full partner in 1980, and in October 2008 he became the chairman of the board.
In 1999, following the restructuring of Currie & Brown, David became group managing director. As managing partner and managing director of the business, David masterminded the cessation of trading within the partnership and the subsequent transfer of the business to a corporate entity on 31 March 2002. At that time he became chief executive and has since taken on many roles within the business, including group commercial director and company secretary, prior to becoming group chairman.
Group Chief Executive Officer
Euan McEwan is group chief executive officer of Currie & Brown. He has extensive experience in the real estate, construction and management consultancy sectors.
Prior to joining Currie & Brown in June 2005, Euan was executive director of AWG plc, where he was responsible for the real estate, PFI/PPP and infrastructure management businesses. He has also been an executive director of Carillion plc where he set up and ran the PFI/PPP and support services businesses. He has also held senior management positions with Tarmac Construction Ltd, Tarmac Properties Ltd and Coopers & Lybrand real estate and construction management consultancy group.
Euan is a qualified chartered accountant and has a BSc in civil engineering. He is also a certified member of the Institute of Management Consultants and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
Group Finance Director
Mark joined Currie & Brown in February 2021, having previously been the CFO at Esh Group, a privately owned British building group.
After gaining a BSc in mathematics with statistics, and qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in the UK, Mark spent more than 20 years with the Atkins Group, initially as a financial controller and then, between 2003 and 2017, he was the worldwide finance director of the project management division, Faithful+ Gould. While at Atkins he also served as finance director of the company’s facilities management business and represented Atkins on the board of the Colchester Garrison PFI.
