Senior Project Manager

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a senior project manager for our London office who meets the following requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, construction management or equivalent
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and/or membership of the Association of Project Management (MAPM) or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years' technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy
  • Pre- and post-contract administration experience using both JCT and NEC forms of contract
  • Commercial, education, public sector and residential regeneration project management sector experience
  • Ability to chair, lead and manage project, client and stakeholder meetings
  • Client and stakeholder communication and management experience
  • Good technical writing, production of project programmes, client-facing and communication skills
  • Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible

The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as preferred service provider.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

  • Providing excellent project management service delivery to our clients
  • Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
  • Assuming a leading role in the London project management team by setting objectives and priorities and working as a proactive team player
  • Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers/directors to ensure efficient project management control
  • Undertaking project management service delivery with limited supervision
  • Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in project management
  • Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
