Work has completed on the new Hi Tech & Digital Centre at South Devon College, for which Currie & Brown provided cost management services.

Currie & Brown has been appointed by Art-Invest Real Estate and Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment manager, as independent expert for the new 25hours Hotel in Florence.

Candour Group, in partnership with Tristan Capital Partners, has commissioned Currie & Brown to cost manage the development of a new Grade A office in the centre of Bristol.

Phase 2 of the major Krowji redevelopment scheme is now underway. Currie & Brown is project managing the scheme, which will add around 20 extra workspaces to the current community of 200 working in the creative industries on the site of the old Redruth Grammar School in Cornwall.

The redevelopment of the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon has reached practical completion. North Devon Council appointed Currie & Brown to deliver project management and quantity surveying services on the project.

Currie & Brown has been appointed by the Priest’s House Museum Trust to provide cost management and principal designer services for the refurbishment of Priest’s House Museum in Wimborne, Dorset. Located in the Wimborne Town Conservation Area, the museum is a historic Grade II-listed town house of special architectural interest.

The new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital in St Albans, Melbourne opened its doors on 15 May 2019. Currie & Brown provided cost management services on the project for the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria.

Corserv has appointed Currie & Brown to deliver building surveying services to support Cornwall Housing’s acquisition programme. Corserv is a diverse group of Cornwall Council-owned businesses, including Cornwall Housing.

Currie & Brown Aero, Currie & Brown’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveying function, has been certified to provide UAV services on rail infrastructure in the UK. Equipped with enterprise-grade UAVs and payloads, the surveyors use an industry-leading hosting and analytics portal to deliver high-quality information, imagery and models.

The Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) has secured £42 million of funding for a new manufacturing centre in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Currie & Brown has been appointed by CPI in partnership with the University of Strathclyde to provide project management, cost management and clerk of works services on the project. Funding has been provided by several sources including UK Research and Innovation, Scottish Enterprise, GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca. Additional funds will come from revenue to be attracted from funding bids and commercial projects.

Currie & Brown announces the appointment of Jamie Chard as director and head of commercial project management for the England and Wales region. Jamie will be based in the Cardiff office. This follows the recent appointment of Chris Webb as director and head of Currie & Brown’s Southampton office.
