Colin Campbell shortlisted for APM award

Colin Campbell, director at Currie & Brown’s Scotland Hub office, has been shortlisted for a prestigious award by the Association of Project Management (APM) in recognition of his contribution to the highly successful redevelopment of Parliament House in Edinburgh.

Colin led the Currie & Brown team in providing project management and site supervision at the historical home of Scotland’s supreme courts, delivering the ambitious refurbishment of the centuries-old facility well below budget and ahead of schedule. Between 2007 and 2013, Colin and the team worked closely with stakeholders and court users to reach a deep understanding of the building’s operations and needs, resulting in the high-profile project being lauded by both the Scottish Court Service and independent reviewers. (See press release dated 30 June - The verdict is excellent - for more details).

As a direct result of Colin’s specialist input on the Parliament House project, he has reached the final stages of the APM’s Project Professional of the Year category. The accolade seeks to recognise individuals who have made significant contributions to a project, programme or portfolio, focusing team performance to deliver tangible benefits to their client and other stakeholders. Following a record-breaking number of award nominations in 2014, Colin is one of four finalists for this hotly-contested title.

The awards ceremony will take place on Monday 3 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane. For more information about the awards, please click on the following link:
