Two staff members from Currie & Brown have been appointed on the new Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Working Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. David Chappell has been selected as the vice-chair, and James Irvine has been appointed as a non-executive member.

The new working group was set up to promote the adoption and wider recognition of international standards and RICS initiatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The group will also work with the government and influencing bodies in the country to help generate an environment that encourages growth and inward investment.

James Irvine, country manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Currie & Brown, explained: “We are delighted to be a part of the new working group, and look forward to supporting qualified professionals in the market and providing development opportunities. By sharing ideas and forging ties with other professional bodies, the working group will help to add value to the built environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
