Currie & Brown appoints Mark Syrett as managing director for London and the South East

Mark Syrett joins Currie & Brown as regional managing director for London and the South East.
A chartered surveyor, Mark joins from Gleeds, where he led the development and growth of the consultancy’s UK rail business.
During his 25 years in the construction industry, Mark has gained extensive experience across many business sectors and has been employed in consultancy, contractor and client organisations, building a reputation as an accomplished commercial director and programme delivery director, able to support clients by providing different business and delivery perspectives.
Welcoming Mark to Currie & Brown, Alan Manuel, chief operating officer for the company’s UK and Europe business, said: “I am delighted that Mark is joining my senior management team to lead London and the South East. With his blend of commercial knowledge and expertise in major infrastructure programme delivery, he will be a major asset to the business and will help us continue our growth across a broad range of sectors and services.”

Mark replaces Carl Bishop, who has moved to lead healthcare for Currie & Brown in the UK.
