Currie & Brown appointed on major Coventry Civic Centre scheme

As part of a £400 million development of its campus, Coventry University has engaged Currie & Brown to provide cost management consultancy services for the redevelopment of the current Coventry City Council Civic Centre site.

The next five years will see unprecedented investment by Coventry University in its estate in both new buildings and the refurbishment of its existing facilities. The university’s group director of estates development, Rob Talliss, stated: "This is unquestionably the largest investment programme in the history of the university. However, the development of the Civic Centre site will obviously be a major scheme for the city as well as the university."

He added: "We believe that constantly improving our campus not only brings benefit to our students but also to the environment of the city centre which in turn will help attract further investment."
