Currie & Brown engaged on dining development at Manchester Arndale

M&G Real Estate and intu have appointed Currie & Brown to support the development of Halle Place, a new casual dining destination at the Manchester Arndale shopping centre.

The scheme, set to increase the centre’s current food and beverage offering, involves shell and core reconfiguration works to create ten new restaurant and grab-and-go units across a floor area of 2,323m² (25,000ft²). Three larger retail units have also been introduced, each with a floor area of circa 1,393m² (15,000ft²), while the whole of Halle Place will receive new high-quality finishes and environmental enhancements throughout.

Currie & Brown is providing cost and project management on the development, as well as employer's agent services.

Commenting on the appointment, Manchester-based director Stephen Jacobsen said: "Manchester Arndale is already one of the leading retail hubs in Europe. We are pleased to be working on this major transformation scheme, which will bring a new casual dining destination to the city centre."
