Three Currie & Brown employees have been shortlisted for the 2017 RICS Young Surveyor of the Year awards. These awards celebrate the most inspirational surveying professionals in the UK, who demonstrate excellence by working to the highest standards and act as advocates for the profession.
Tarek Jumah, consultant in the London office, and Jennifer Graham, assistant project manager in Edinburgh, have both been shortlisted in the Project Management category. This award recognises individuals with an exceptional ability to lead and manage building and civil engineering projects to achieve agreed business outcomes and demonstrate excellent communication and management skills.
London-based associate director Sean McAvoy has been nominated for the Mentor of the Year category in appreciation of the support and inspiration that he has offered to RICS trainees and newly qualified young professionals.
Alan Manuel, chief operating officer for Currie & Brown's UK and Mainland Europe business, commented: "We are extremely proud that the efforts of these staff members are being recognised at a national level, especially in a year where RICS has noted the particularly high standard of entries. We congratulate them on their achievements and wish them the very best for the final awards ceremony."
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 17 November at the Hilton London Bankside Hotel. For more information, please visit http://www.rics.org/ae/footer/rics-matrics-young-surveyor-of-the-year/.
