Currie & Brown completes work on University of Warwick’s new Mathematical Sciences Building
6 November 2018
Work on the new Mathematical Sciences Building at the University of Warwick has recently been completed. Currie & Brown provided cost management services on the project, which was awarded £2 million from the Wolfson Foundation.
The six-storey building, located at the university’s main campus and built around a large central atrium, will support the mathematics, statistics and computer sciences departments and will strengthen collaboration between the three departments. The new building will provide spaces for teaching, research and the day-to-day work for students and staff for many years to come.
Jason Scott, associate director at Currie & Brown, commented: “Currie & Brown is proud to have worked closely with the University of Warwick to deliver a collaborative department building, which will have a great impact on the students and staff at the university. As well as providing much needed spaces for teaching and research, the new Mathematical Sciences Building will house staff who work on interdisciplinary initiatives with other organisations, including the Alan Turing Institute.”
