New Dulwich Health Centre reaches financial close

The new Dulwich Health Centre has now reached financial close. Currie & Brown was commissioned to provide project direction for Community Health Partnerships (CHP) as the procurement agency.

The project involved the replacement of facilities that had previously been delivered in several locations, including the former Dulwich Hospital, to facilitate the delivery of innovative out-of-hospital care. The health centre will provide a wide range of services including primary care, community services, long-term conditions support, local outpatients, renal dialysis and diagnostics units.

The Currie & Brown team was responsible for leading the commercial, legal and financial solution and for drafting the two stages of Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) business cases for the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for NHS England approval.

Gerry Owen, director at Currie & Brown, said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and we are delighted that it has been a great success. We were able to use Currie & Brown’s extensive experience and understanding of the LIFT model to help deliver a high standard of service delivery for Community Health Partnerships.”
