The Jean Bishop Hull Integrated Care Centre project now complete
1 May 2018
The new Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre facility is now complete. Currie & Brown provided cost management, project management and employer’s agent services for Hull CityCare on the project.
The new integrated care centre is a modern, state-of-the-art facility providing assessment, diagnostic and therapy services supported by social care. It will be able to provide a wide range of services for elderly people with long-term conditions under one roof. This will enable patients to maintain a better quality of life and independence in their homes for as long as possible, reducing the time they need to spend in hospital.
The integrated care centre will also house services provided by the Humberside Rescue and Fire Service (HFRS) comprising one fire appliance, a community safety service and non-urgent medical response unit.
James White, director at Currie & Brown, said: “We are delighted to have played a role in the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre project. It is a unique facility in terms of its service offerings and will be an important centre for the local community.”
