Currie & Brown appointed on Cheshire East Council framework

Cheshire East Council has appointed Currie & Brown on their construction-related consultancy services framework for quantity surveying and building surveying.
Under the framework, Currie & Brown will work on a wide range of projects that the council are proposing to carry out in the next four years. Current appointments under this framework include a leisure centre feasibility study for remodelling to expand the gymnasium, fitness suite, changing village and a new reception extension; a feasibility study for the construction of a four classroom extension at a primary school; the construction of an eight-classroom extension at a high school; and a feasibility study for the remodelling and expansion of a high school to provide an additional form entry.
The overall objective of the framework is to support the council to deliver their revenue and capital programmes by increasing social value investment and maintaining and developing sustainable relationships with stakeholders. Currie & Brown will support selected projects using BIM to Level 2 standard and help to create a collaborative environment that facilitates innovation and learning.
