Crown House is a development of 396 new homes and 430m² of commercial space on the existing car park site on Linton Road. It will be spread across two sites comprising residential blocks of 9- to 29-storey high rise accommodation. The development will have tenures ranging from affordable rent to shared ownership units.
Currie & Brown will provide services from RIBA stage 2 concept design using a pre-construction services agreement for the enabling works. The main works will then be let through a follow-on main works contract for the remaining phases of the Crown House development project.
Commenting on the appointment Richard Cairnes, director at Currie & Brown said: “Currie & Brown is delighted to be providing services for the Crown House project. These developments will radically improve the site, provide much-needed new homes and a range of facilities and amenities that will help to revitalise Barking town centre.”
