Work begins on site at Assembly Bristol mixed-use regeneration scheme

Work has begun on the first phase of the Assembly Bristol mixed-use regeneration scheme which will provide 200,000 ft2 of commercial office space, designed for businesses in the services, consultancy, financial, technology and media sectors near Bristol city centre.

Currie & Brown is providing cost management and CDM advisor services on the project for Temple Way (Devco) Ltd and Bell Hammer.

The first phase of the development, ‘Building A’, will overlook the River Avon and will be connected to the city centre by a waterfront walkway. Practical completion is scheduled for 2020.

Craig Short, director at Currie & Brown, commented: “We are delighted to be providing services on the Assembly project which will provide much needed Grade A space for the Bristol office market and help to meet occupier demand. The Assembly Bristol regeneration scheme will bring new life to the area by providing new outdoor spaces including a waterway and spaces for events and public art.”
