David Chappell appointed as chair of RICS KSA working group

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) MENA has appointed David Chappell, associate director in Currie & Brown’s Jeddah office, as chairperson of the RICS Working Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The group was first formed in 2018, with the aim to promote the adoption and recognition of international standards in Saudi Arabia. The group strives to encourage growth in the number of qualified professionals while supporting existing members.

Commenting on his appointment, David said: “I am honoured to be appointed as chairperson for the RICS KSA Working Group. It is a great opportunity to work with other RICS members to uphold and maintain standards, while working to achieve recognition in the Kingdom.”
