Hong Kong office recognised for two awards
30 September 2020
Currie & Brown’s Hong Kong office has been recognised as a good employer for the third successive year. The company has been a signatory of the Good Employer Charter, organised by the Labour Department of the Hong Kong government, since 2018.
To be recognised as a good employer, Currie & Brown has pledged to adopt good human resource management practices and remain an employee-oriented business. By adopting family-friendly working practices such as flexible working, the office was also granted Family-Friendly Good Employer status, an award established this year.
The Hong Kong business also received the Good MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund) Employer award. This award commends employers who have made continuous efforts to further enhance the retirement protection of their employees.
To achieve this award, Currie & Brown pays MPF contributions on time and ensures the interests of employees are protected. Currie & Brown enhanced its contribution, receiving the supplementary e-Contribution award for submitting MPF data and payments electronically, and the MPF Support award for offering voluntary contributions and seminars on the MPF scheme to employees.
