La Torre designer outlet opens in Zaragoza

Currie & Brown provided project monitoring services on the construction of La Torre designer outlet development in Zaragoza, Spain. La Torre, which opened its doors to customers on 22 October, is a uniquely designed centre that pays tribute to mid-20th century industrial architecture.

Designed by Bernabad Arquitectura SLP, the project comprised the construction of a new 58,337m² retail development, including a cinema and almost 2,500 parking places.

Fashion, food, leisure and more can be found in the village, which is on the N-232, approximately 6.5km from Zaragoza’s city centre and easily accessible by public transport.

Lorena Cervera, associate director in Currie & Brown’s Madrid office, remarked: “We are pleased to have been able to support the construction of La Torre with monitoring services. Our monitoring team reviewed monthly progress, highlighting the potential impact of any issues on the delivery of the project within the time, cost and quality constraints.”
