City of Edinburgh Council reappoints Currie & Brown to framework

Currie & Brown has secured a place on the City of Edinburgh Council’s four-year professional services framework.

The framework was established to support the City of Edinburgh Council to deliver its capital and revenue expenditure over the next four years. Currie & Brown has been appointed on lots 1, 2, 3 and 11 of the framework, to provide cost and project management services as well as building surveying and multidisciplinary design services.

The framework is accessible for use by local authorities, Scottish fire and rescue services, the Scottish Police Authority, Scottish registered landlords, further and higher education institutions and participating sector partners. The framework will help the city achieve its aim of net zero carbon by 2030.

William Allan, regional managing director for Scotland and Ireland, commented: “Having undertaken several projects for the City of Edinburgh Council, we are delighted to be able to extend our provision to the council under the new professional services contract, to build state-of-the-art, cutting-edge buildings that will meet local sustainability and energy requirements.”
