Currie & Brown cost managing Dublin residential development

Currie & Brown is supporting Carrickreagh Developments with full cost management services on the construction of a four-storey, high-end apartment building at 53 Percy Place, Ballsbridge.

Located in central Dublin adjacent to the Grand Canal, this turnkey development of high-specification apartments comprises one single-bed and seven two-bed apartments with basement car park serviced by a mechanical car lift.

Designed by Plus Architecture to BER A2-rated energy efficiency standards, the dual-aspect apartments will comply with the requirements of the Design Standards for New Apartments - Guidelines for Planning Authorities, which the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications recently published.

Colin Smyth, associate director in Currie & Brown’s Dublin office, commented: “The basement groundworks are due for completion and handover at the end of June 2021, with the main superstructure forecast to be complete in June of 2022. The services that Currie & Brown is providing include cost management and contract administration of all construction and direct fit-out works, from feasibility through to handover.”
