Currie & Brown adds Jim McCombe to its growing team in Saudi Arabia

Leading provider of cost management, project management and advisory services Currie & Brown has recruited Jim McCombe to join its team in Saudi Arabia as cost management director.

Jim rejoins Currie & Brown where he previously worked in 2019-2020. He brings a wealth of experience having worked for over 15 years in the Middle East on both the client and consultancy side, with the last three years spent working in Saudi Arabia for Qiddiya, RCU, KAFD, MiSK and King Salman Park.

Hiring Jim is the latest stage in Currie & Brown’s growth strategy, with the business planning to employ another 80 people in Saudi Arabia by the end of the year.

Some of the world’s biggest construction projects are underway in Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030, with work worth a combined estimate of $1.2 trillion. These projects need careful cost management to ensure success in a global economy that is seeing a shortage of labour and materials leading to the driving up construction costs.
