Restoration of the spectacular new Son Bunyola Hotel, Mallorca, completed

Currie & Brown has successfully delivered project management, cost management and multiple client engagement services on the stunning Son Bunyola Hotel in Mallorca.

Directed by Virgin Limited Edition, the Currie & Brown team oversaw an incredible restoration and transformation of the property. What was a damaged traditional 16th century finca is now a world-class luxury establishment. It now comprises 26 rooms and suites, two restaurants, lounges, external dining terraces and an impressive 28-metre swimming pool 

The historic nature of the central building, combined with its position on a 1,300-acre UNESCO World Heritage Site, contributed to a uniquely complex project. Currie & Brown played a key role in bringing it to fruition by collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve the numerous licences and standards needed to restore the historic site. Importantly, the team also worked closely with supply chain partners to ensure that the historic integrity of the building could be fully maintained.
