Frank Biel promoted to branch manager of Currie & Brown's Dusseldorf office

We have appointed Frank Biel as the new Branch Manager of our Dusseldorf office in Germany.

Since joining the firm in July 2024, Frank has successfully led a number of high-profile projects including the Monheimer Tor shopping mall project in Monheim am Rhein. He is currently overseeing the development of the KöTower project in Dusseldorf.

Frank brings 30 years of experience in construction and real estate to his new role. He has managed a diverse portfolio of projects with sustainable interventions across industrial, office, hotel, retail, and residential sectors.

Since 2010, he has focused on construction management for several leading development companies, including 6B47 Real Estate Investors. There, Frank gained firsthand experience of the pressures and constraints developers encounter, from tight budgets to strict timelines. His ability to provide strategic advice and manage diverse stakeholder expectations will help him to understand our client’s core needs and concerns. It will enable Frank to give our clients the certainty they need to make early decisions about their project’s feasibility and impact.

Marc Kirschbaum, Managing Director of Currie & Brown Germany, said “Sustainability regulations like the EU Taxonomy are introducing tougher requirements for construction projects. The challenge for developers is navigating these complex rules, which has significantly increased the demand for clear, expert advice. Frank’s experience in delivering complex, ESG-compliant projects for major developers positions him perfectly to guide our clients during this period, ensuring their investments not only meet but exceed expectations.

Frank Biel said, “I am excited about the opportunity to lead our Dusseldorf office. This role allows me to apply my industry expertise more broadly and drive innovation and excellence in our project delivery.”
