Commercial projects for D-Mart

Avenue Supermarts Limited owns and operates hypermarkets and supermarkets with the store name D-Mart. The company had a goal to make their supermarkets a one-stop shopping destination for the entire family, meeting all daily household needs.

Stores offer a wide selection of home products, including food, toiletries, beauty products, clothing, kitchenware, bed and bath linen, home appliances and more.

D-Mart was first established in the Mumbai region in 2000 and has since grown into a well-established shopping destination in 93 locations across the country.

Our role

Currie & Brown was commissioned to provide quantity surveying services for the nationwide expansion project.

We prepared a comprehensive and detailed cost plan and identified cost avoidance opportunities for the client. The ultimate result of our proactive approach allowed the client to stay within the budget as they expanded operations across India. Our experience of co-ordinating interdisciplinary teams and executing on a large scale fostered a collaborative environment despite the geographical distance between individual projects.
