DBS Bank headquarters
The project involved the fit-out of 614,000ft2 and the migration of 4,800 employees of DBS Bank from their premises at DBS Towers and PWC Building to Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3.
This project comprised 18 levels of office fit-out, installation of all critical infrastructure supporting two data centres and four trading floors, two executive floors, the first ‘in office’ Starbucks outlet, a 30,000ft2 flagship retail branch and Channel News Asia TV studio.
Our role was project management and cost management, with a team seconded to DBS for the duration of the project. We acted as the principal point of contact for the project, with both internal stakeholders and external consultants.
We added value by setting up internal approval systems during the design stage, ensuring all parties were involved in the design and sign-off process. Additionally, during procurement and construction we set up a process for timely delivery of the office fit-out component and staged handover of IT spaces, to optimise efficiency and achieve stringent timelines.
