A visionary healthcare project in Jordan
Jordan
Our team in the UAE is providing cost management services for Dubai Health to deliver a groundbreaking model of cancer care at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital.
This facility is set to be Dubai’s first integrated, comprehensive cancer hospital. The project will deliver a modern, high-quality environment for patients, families, clinicians, and staff, including extensive healing and relaxation gardens.
The campus will be home to clinics, clinical research areas, infusion rooms, urgent care rooms, radiotherapy facilities, and in-patient facilities. The Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital will position Dubai, and the UAE, at the forefront of medical innovation.
The new hospital will be part of Dubai Health, the first integrated academic health system in Dubai.
With a multidisciplinary team, including specialized nursing, patients will access a full spectrum of care services in one location, from early diagnosis to treatment and supportive care. As a hub of expertise, the hospital will also make select treatments and services available to patients in the comfort of their homes.
The hospital will help shift care delivery from a traditional inpatient model to an ambulatory model of care. This includes integrating primary care with diagnosis and treatment to offer detection and intervention at earlier stages of the patient's journey.
The new hospital will allow medical teams to carry out research and clinical trials, seeking the best patient outcomes through personalized, patient-centric, evidence-based care.
We provided cost estimations at the early design stage and benchmarked these against comparable facilities in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. We will continue to plan, manage and report on costs throughout the project.
We’re advising at the pre- and post-contract stages, including by providing innovative procurement support, tender analysis and contract formation.
The project is to be funded in part from in-kind donations, so cost estimates need to be structured to allow for the extraction of particular quantities to present to donors. We’re managing potential area creep and reporting at an early stage to allow for mitigation/justification from the design team.
This world-class facility is due to be completed in December 2026. We can’t wait to see it up and running and delivering high-quality care to patients in Dubai.
Dubai Health, the first integrated academic health system in Dubai, was established to elevate the standard of care and to advance health for humanity.
Dubai Health comprises six hospitals, 26 ambulatory health centers, 20 medical fitness centers, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Al Jalila Foundation. Through the integration of care, learning, discovery, and giving, eleven thousand employees collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to put the patient first.
