UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) surveying
Currie & Brown Aero is our unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveying function. Equipped with enterprise-grade UAVs and payloads, our surveyors use an industry-leading hosting and analytics portal to deliver high-quality information, imagery and models.
Using UAVs enables greater efficiency in surveying and allows for a rich provision of information. Minutes of flight can produce 2D and 3D models allowing for further analysis by our surveyors or direct sharing with our clients via the Currie & Brown Aero portal.
Currie & Brown has approval from the Civil Aviation Authority to fly UAVs in the UK to within ten metres of people, property, vessels or vehicles outside of the company’s operators’ control, at a height of up to 600ft. Click here to read more.
