Currie & Brown to provide services for St Thomas’ Hospital theatre expansion

Currie & Brown has been appointed by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust to provide cost management services on the project to expand its Lambeth Wing Theatre.

The project involves the phased construction of four operating theatres and associated support services within an existing theatre suite. A recovery unit and surgical admissions lounge will also be built.

Each phase of the project will decant existing services, and at each stage the estate will be re-modelled. Currie & Brown will provide cost management services and assist the project managers with validating the proposals. They will also provide support for risk management and the lifecycle cost advice for the scheme.
