Currie & Brown expands Oregon team

Currie & Brown’s Portland office has strengthened its team with several new hires.

Steven Blum joins as associate director, offering 30+ years of experience in delivering world-class procurement, project management and project controls solutions to high-tech clients. Currie & Brown clients will also benefit from Steve’s experience in negotiating contracts and settling contractual claims.

Joining as associate director, John Weglarz specialises in earned value. John has extensive experience in delivering world-class project controls solutions on many projects in the US, Australia and South America. His experience and leadership is welcomed by the local team.

Project manager Brian Mandt has come on board to support the US business as its client base grows. With 24 years of project management experience, much of it gained in the Portland area, Brian’s expertise is wide-ranging and includes new office buildings, parking garages, site development, manufacturing, high-tech and security projects.

Hayley Carroll joins the team as an estimator. Hayley has worked on many high-tech, industrial and commercial construction projects in the UK and the US. She will be supporting the high-tech team on their projects.
