Currie & Brown is acting as lead advisor on two new health and wellbeing centres in Fife

NHS Fife has engaged Currie & Brown to act as lead advisor on the development of two new health and wellbeing centres in Kincardine and Lochgelly, Scotland.

Working with NHS Fife as delivery partner, hub East Scotland has been tasked with developing two new centres at Kincardine and Lochgelly to centralise GP, social care and volunteer services due to the current facilities being deemed no longer fit for purpose.

Currie & Brown will act as lead advisor to close out the outline business case through to final business case submission, then subsequent construction and handover of the facilities. Both developments will adopt BIM level two and adhere to BREEAM UK New Construction 2018 methodology.

Linda Shearer, director in Currie & Brown’s Edinburgh office, commented: “Currie & Brown has an extensive background in delivering health care projects across Scotland, and we are pleased to be able to extend and share this knowledge with NHS Fife to deliver two new health and wellbeing centres.”
