Currie & Brown appoints new group marketing and communications director

Currie & Brown is delighted to announce Katie Johnston as the new group marketing and communications director.

As a member of the operational executive reporting directly into the group chief executive officer, Katie will oversee the development and execution of all marketing and communications initiatives across the business. With ultimate responsibility of the brand, marketing and communications, she will deliver global, regional and local strategies poised to deliver sustainable growth for the business.

Katie most recently held the head of marketing and communications position at GHD, a professional services company operating in the global markets of water, energy, environment property and transportation. Prior to this she held senior marketing positions within Accenture and spent over eight years with Arcadis.

Group chief executive officer, Alan Manuel, commented: “The world is constantly evolving and progressive organisations need to respond to the rising influence of marketing, digital transformation and client experience. With a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving client demand and creating brand awareness, Katie will be a great addition to the business.”
