Following the official opening of the Roslin Innovation Centre last May, the first tenants have moved in. Currie & Brown provided cost consultancy services on the project and supported the university with the fit-out for a number of tenants.

Work on the new Mathematical Sciences Building at the University of Warwick has recently been completed. Currie & Brown provided cost management services on the project, which was awarded £2 million from the Wolfson Foundation.

The Advanced Manufacturing Building at the University of Nottingham has won the design excellence award at the East Midlands Property Dinner. Currie & Brown provided cost consultancy and risk management services for the new, state-of-the-art, 9,011m2 training and research facility, located on the university’s Jubilee campus.

The refurbishment of the historic University Arms Hotel in Cambridge has reached practical completion and officially opened to guests on 1 August. The iconic hotel, which first opened in 1834, is located in the city centre overlooking Parker’s Piece Green with scenic views of the city.

Currie & Brown announces the appointment of Neil Brierley as the new regional managing director for England and Wales. Neil will replace Peter Taylor, who, after 18 years in the business and 43 years in the industry, will continue on a consultancy basis.

Two staff members from Currie & Brown have been appointed on the new Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Working Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. David Chappell has been selected as the vice-chair, and James Irvine has been appointed as a non-executive member.

The new Chase Farm Hospital in North London has officially been handed over. Currie & Brown was appointed by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust to provide project management, contract management and specialist advisory services for the project from its inception in 2014 through to completion.

Currie & Brown has been appointed by BBC Professional Services to provide project management services on their new professional services framework. Currie & Brown is already working on the BBC’s cost management and CDM principal designer frameworks.

Currie & Brown has been appointed on University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) 3rd Generation Consultancy Framework. The new framework, for which UCL Partners is the awarding authority, consists of eight lots, and Currie & Brown will provide services to three: project management, healthcare planning and principal designer services.
