Currie & Brown and the Financial Times reveal new research on construction certainty at London event

Delivering capital projects with confidence is harder than ever in today’s volatile environment. On Tuesday 7 October 2025, Currie & Brown will partner with the Financial Times to host a live event at our London headquarters. The focus will be on how to build certainty into major construction projects.

Building Certainty into Major Construction Projects will bring together senior voices from global investment, business and the built environment. Moderated by Nathalie Thomas, International Economy News Editor at the FT, the panel will explore:

  • The true cost of uncertainty in global construction
  • The risks reshaping project delivery and how to respond
  • Why resilience is under pressure in a connected, volatile world
  • How leading organisations are preparing for disruption and growth

Speakers include Dr Alan Manuel, Group Chief Executive Officer at Currie & Brown, Camil Yazbeck, Chief Development Officer at Accor, and Sean Cole, Senior Director and Global Tech Sector Lead at Currie & Brown, with more names to follow.

Guests will also hear the findings from Currie & Brown’s new global research into construction certainty, which benchmarks confidence levels across industries and regions.
The event runs from 14:30 to 18:00 at 150 Holborn, London, EC1N 2NS, followed by rooftop networking drinks. A digital pass is also available, providing access to the live stream and the recording.

“This event is about confronting the challenges facing global construction and showing how resilience can be built into project delivery,” said Dr Alan Manuel.
