Helen Pickering
Helen has been with us for 22 years. She joined as a graduate in the UK and is now our Global Healthcare Lead, based in New York.
I joined Currie & Brown as a graduate and have spent my entire career here. From day one, I’ve specialised in healthcare advisory. I work with public and private sector clients to deliver projects that improve services and outcomes.
Over time, my role has evolved. I headed up our specialist advisory services department and led our UK healthcare sector for seven years before stepping up to lead and grow our global healthcare offer. The US and Middle East are key areas of focus for growth which led me to relocate to the US, fully supported by the business.
Delivering impact that matters
The Chase Farm Hospital redevelopment in North London has been a standout project for me. The project went from initiation to on-site in under two years which was unprecedented. We delivered what was, at the time, the most digital hospital in the UK. It was a fantastic client, and as a team we delivered a high-quality result for patients and staff.
Another more recent highlight was speaking at the Andean Healthcare Summit, hosted by the British Embassy in Peru. Being able to support collaboration and knowledge-sharing between countries was a real privilege.
