Currie & Brown appoints new Sydney staff as part of Australia expansion

Currie & Brown Australia announces the appointment of Rain Tang as country finance manager and Samantha Stewart as people manager for Australia.

Rain takes on full finance responsibilities across Currie & Brown’s Australia business which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. She is a certified practising accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Samantha gained a bachelor’s degree in business and commerce from the University of Western Sydney, specialising in human resources management and industrial relations, before working in the UK for several years. She assumes responsibility for the full realm of people management duties including recruitment, training and development and employee relations.

Commenting on their appointment, Andrew Wigg, regional managing director at Currie & Brown, said: “Rain and Samantha join Currie & Brown at an exciting time as we expand our Australia business. Their wealth of experience in their respective fields will be a great asset to Currie & Brown and we are delighted to welcome them to the Australia team.”
