Sustainable and ethical business practice
At Currie & Brown we see corporate social responsibility and the very highest standards of business ethics as critical to the successful long-term relationship with our employees, clients and suppliers. These principles are an integral part of our business management system which supports our delivery of world-class performance.
Sustainable business practice is about ensuring we conduct our business in a compliant and ethical way, taking into account our impact, economically, socially, environmentally and with respect to individual human rights. We understand that our business actions affect local communities, and we take care to ensure our impact is positive. Our website is hosted on a carbon-neutral platform.
This philosophy is enshrined in our management system, and in many regions Currie & Brown is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
To demonstrate Currie & Brown’s commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions, the UK and Europe business has signed up to World Green Building Council’s net-zero carbon buildings commitment. Read our report covering the period January 2023 - December 2023.
Our policy statements are endorsed from the very top of our organisation. Adherence to these policy statements is mandatory for all employees and compliance is included in our personal development reviews.
We also require our suppliers to uphold similar high standards of ethical business conduct. It is a condition of doing business with Currie & Brown that suppliers comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
